Flower Power Cosmetics the company is was first created in 2020 in Austin Texas by founder Ananda Myhre. Although it is based on age old wisdom, nourishing plant medicines, and years of curating and crafting the skills needed to create these products.

 

Our founder began studying herbalism with the modern day mother of herbalism in central Texas Ginger Webb, as a pre-teen and then went on to apprentice as a teen, and work for her apothecary as an adult. With this foundation of medicinal herbal knowledge, Ananda sought the perfect products to nourish her skin with and could not find any that were simultaneously affordable, organic, healing, scrumptious, AND fun.

 

So as a teen through much research and experimentation she began creating her first products in her mother's kitchen; kudos to the first product ever Sun Goddess Salve! And of course when someone smells delicious and has glowing vibrant skin people ask questions and then begins Ananda's journey of expanding her product list and making and selling products at sixteen for four years, until she finally gave her endeavor a name and got official in 2020!
